You won't forget the meal, or the chef.

Private chef, not a caterer. Entirely bespoke. No uniform, no protocol. For weddings of up to 80 guests in France and internationally.

You did not choose a meaningful venue to host a wedding you have seen before.

Catering proposals often begin to look alike: the same choices, the same wording, the sense that your day must fit into a package.

Behind that feeling lies a more personal fear: becoming another file in a busy calendar, handed on the day to a team that does not know you.

You want a table that carries your story, and a person who understands why she is there.

    This is for you

    • You are an epicurean couple who loves tables with personality.
    • You are gathering up to 80 guests in a venue that means something to you.
    • You want a bold menu created for your story, not a package to customise.
    • You want to know the chef who will actually cook on your wedding day.

    This is not for you

    • You want several standard menus to choose from.
    • You prefer a quick process without conversation or shared creation.
    • You are happy to meet the chef only on the wedding day.
    • The lowest price matters more than time, presence and bespoke work.

And this approach will not suit you if you are looking for a standard provider.

    The goal for you

Ten years from now, your guests will still talk about it.

Not only because they ate well. Because the meal carried your character, they felt expected, and the person in the kitchen became part of the story of the day.

    How I work

    The RÉCIT method

    R

    Meeting

A first meeting to get to know one another and decide whether we genuinely want to work together. You discover who I am; I learn your story, your tastes and what you want your guests to experience. An option is placed on your date.

    É

    Outline

I show you how I imagine your wedding through an initial menu outline and your quote. You see a direction created for you before making a commitment.

    C

    Creation

Once the quote is approved and we have both committed, I go deeper. Your menu grows where your story meets mine, then evolves until final approval two months before the wedding.

    I

    Ingredients

I select each producer and ingredient individually. The menu stops being an idea and words on paper: it becomes real.

    T

    Table

On the day, I am in the kitchen from the first course to the last. Everything is cooked on site and I follow the real rhythm of your celebration. Surprises should disappear, not the chef.

    My promises for your wedding

    • Small wedding, lasting culinary memories.
    • I don't send you a wedding menu. I send you yours.

    Three guarantees

    • A menu that truly reflects you. I refine it with you until final approval two months before the wedding.
    • Undivided attention. I remain your contact from the first meeting to the final service.
    • The same chef from beginning to end. The person who imagines your menu is the one who selects the ingredients and cooks on site on the day.

    Bonuses

    • A tasting before final menu approval.
    • An option on your date placed from our first meeting.
    • My partner wine merchant can create your food and wine pairing if you choose this paid service.

Six weddings a year, on average

I choose my future couples with as much care as they choose their suppliers.

This mutual choice matters. It lets me care deeply about your project, give it time and remain fully present, rather than turn your wedding into another date in my calendar.

What may still be holding you back

I'm afraid of a generic wedding or a catalogue menu.

You will never choose between three pre-written menus. Creation begins with your story, tastes and venue. The result could not have been served at the wedding next door because it could not exist without you.

I'm afraid of becoming just another file.

I want to know more than your date and guest count. We take time to choose one another, and I remain your contact from the first meeting to the final service. Six weddings a year allow me to remember what matters to you.

I have no idea what budget to expect.

You need to know whether we are discussing the same kind of project before telling me your story. As a first guide, my weddings are never below €120 per person. Your quote then clearly gathers everything your wedding requires.

There aren't enough of us to deserve that much attention.

A small wedding receives as much attention as a 200-person wedding, and often more. I have time to know the people, refine every detail and cook for a table whose expectations I truly understand.

I'm afraid the meal will look lovely but taste forgettable.

Boldness is not about surprising people for attention. It is about finding the flavour that feels right for you. The tasting makes the project real, and the menu is refined until you fully recognise yourselves in it.

I'm afraid the kitchen will complicate the day.

On your wedding day, you do not monitor cooking or manage service. I cook on site, stay from the first course to the last and follow the pace of your celebration so you can remain with your guests.

A menu designed for you. And for the people you invite.

You are not choosing this meal for the two of you alone. Your guests should feel expected too. I consider tastes, allergies and dietary needs without erasing the menu’s personality. My commitment is to create a generous, expressive meal in which everyone has a place.

    Let's talk about your wedding

Your quote includes everything your project requires, clearly presented from the proposal stage.

    Frequently asked questions

How can you truly know us before the wedding day?
It begins with a genuine meeting. We take time to discover one another and confirm that we want to work together. Our conversations continue through the outline and creation stages: I do not discover your story or expectations the day before your wedding.
How much does a wedding with a private chef cost?
As a first guide, my weddings are never below €120 per person. Every quote is bespoke and unique to each wedding, just like my work and menus. It includes everything your particular project requires.
Is it truly bespoke or an adjusted template?
It is genuinely bespoke. I do not start with a wedding menu and swap two dishes. I begin with your story, tastes, guests, venue and season to create a menu that belongs to this day alone.
How far do you travel for a wedding?
I am based in Lorient and travel throughout France and internationally. Destination, transport, accommodation and venue requirements are considered from the proposal stage so everything required appears in your quote.
How do you handle allergies and dietary requirements?
They are discussed during menu creation, early enough to imagine real dishes rather than emergency substitutes. Your guests should feel expected too, without the meal losing its coherence or personality.
Can we taste the menu before the wedding?
Yes. A tasting is offered before final approval. This is when the menu leaves the page: you taste, we discuss, and I refine what needs changing before final approval two months before the wedding.

What they say once the table has been cleared

“Marie, Yann and I are so happy we trusted you. Everything was delicious and lived up to our expectations. Some guests are true connoisseurs, even in your profession, and the feedback was unanimous. Our children loved it. Beyond the food, we truly loved the person.”
