You're here to live the stay. Not to run the kitchen.

Private chef residency in your villa or estate. I move in for several days, take care of every meal and free your group from the daily mental load.

I move into your place for several days. The menu follows the mood of the stay. And nobody cooks, not even the one who usually spoils everyone.

You already know this stay. You've already lived it.

The house is beautiful, the group is there, the days have meaning. But someone always ends up organising meals, doing the shopping, checking what is missing, working out who cooks tonight.

Even when everything goes smoothly, a mental load remains: planning ahead, making decisions, not being a burden. It is not a major problem, but it is a small weariness that builds up. And it keeps you from being fully on holiday.

You want to delegate that load to someone you trust, so that the stay becomes a real break.

    This is for you

    • You are bringing family or friends together for a stay of several days.
    • You are used to high standards and want the meals to match the place.
    • You know the mental cost of a poorly organised stay.
    • You want everyone, including the usual cook, to be at the table.

    This is not for you

    • You are looking for a single meal for a weekend.
    • You prefer to handle shopping and menus yourself.
    • You want a catalogue of ready-made formulas.
    • You do not feel the chef needs to be on site.

If you are looking for one isolated meal, a residency is not what you need. It is rather a private dinner.

    The goal for you

Live something you could not have created yourselves.

No shopping list, no who-cooks-tonight, no rushed meal because everyone came back tired. You enjoy the stay, and meals become moments to look forward to, not chores to hand off randomly.

    How I work

The RÉCIT method, adapted to your stay

    R

    Rendezvous

A first conversation to get to know each other, understand your group, your habits and your wishes for this stay. We check together that this format is right for both of us.

    S

    Sketch

I propose a first direction: meal rhythm, style of cuisine, practical organisation and a budget guide. You discover what the stay could feel like before committing.

    C

    Creation

After the quote is approved, I build the menus day by day. Each meal is shaped for the group, the place, the season and the mood of the stay. Nothing is written before it has been discussed with you.

    I

    Ingredients

I choose the products according to the menus, the local producers and the region where you are. Shopping is part of the stay and its budget, with no surprises.

    T

    Table

I am on site from the first day to the last. I cook, I adapt to the group's rhythm and I make sure no one slips back into the work. You just have to sit down.

    What I guarantee

    Two promises, kept every day

    • 01. Freedom

      Everyone at the table

Nobody cooks during your stay, not even the one who usually spoils everyone.

    • 02. Presence

      You, free

Be busy living. I'll handle the rest.

    Unfailing attention throughout the stay

I am there from the first day to the last. I make sure no one takes the load back, goes shopping again or ends up alone in the kitchen. You no longer have to think about meals or groceries. You only have to be there, around the table.

What might still be holding you back

There is already a great cook in our group.

That is precisely the person we want to free. The stay is not there to prove they can cook, but to give them the right to stop thinking about it. And if they want to take the stove back for a moment, they can: I step aside gracefully, no hard feelings.

I'm afraid the meals will lack surprise over several days.

Each menu is different. I do not repeat a dish from one day to the next; I play with market produce, the group's wishes and the occasion. Surprise becomes a rhythm, not an exception.

I don't know this kitchen, you might be lost.

I am used to bringing my own equipment and adapting to what is on site. Before the stay, we review the equipment. If a full kitchen is missing, we can rent a complete set-up, at your cost.

We have very varied, even opposite tastes.

That is exactly what we discuss beforehand. I design menus where everyone finds their place without the meal losing its coherence. The aim is not to please everyone by levelling down, but to compose for the group.

I'm afraid someone will end up taking over again.

That is the risk when the role is not clear. Here, I take care of the cooking and the shopping. The person who usually cooks no longer has to step in, even discreetly.

I need to feel that you genuinely want to be here.

That is precisely why we take time to meet before. I only say yes to stays that make me want to commit. If I travel, it is because I want to be with your group, not just because of the date.

Not the same menu twice. And everyone at the table.

I do not repeat a recipe because it worked well. Each meal is shaped by the day, the season, what is still left to discover and what the group wants to taste.

That includes the person who usually cooks. They are there, at the table, with everyone else. That is precisely the point of a residency.

    Let's talk about your stay

Every residency is unique: length, number of guests, meal rhythm and level of service. I build your quote bespoke, based on what you actually want to experience.

No hidden costs. The quote clearly states everything needed: service, groceries, accommodation and travel.

    FAQ

How do you handle varied tastes within one group?
We talk about it before the stay and check in along the way. Each menu is composed so that differences become a strength rather than a constraint. Allergies, diets and preferences are included from the creation stage.
What if the schedule changes during the stay?
That is normal. A group comes back late, another goes on an excursion, the day's energy shifts dinner time. I adapt: we adjust timings and meals to what is actually happening, without it becoming a puzzle.
Can you cook in an unfamiliar kitchen?
Yes. I find my bearings on site and bring the equipment I need. Before the stay, we review the setup. If the kitchen is not equipped, renting a complete kitchen set-up is at your cost.
What is the minimum length of a residency?
From 2 days. That is when a rhythm sets in and meals become moments to look forward to rather than last-minute problems to solve.
Are groceries included in the quote?
They are included in the overall budget. The simplest way is a float or a dedicated card for groceries. No hidden costs: the quote clearly states what is planned.
Where do you sleep during the stay?
On site, in accommodation provided or paid for by you. This is necessary to guarantee my presence and responsiveness from the first day to the last, in France and abroad.

What they say, once the table is cleared

« An extraordinary experience with Marie! A varied and healthy cuisine, traditional or creative, remarkable human values of conviviality and respect, determined and attentive to creating tables for 7 to 25 guests. Hoping to see her again very soon! »

    Nicolas

« I was lucky enough to be invited to Belle Île en Mer with family and old school friends to celebrate our 50th birthdays. Our hosts called on chef Marie during their stay, and she was incredible. For tables of 3 to 18 people, even more who weren't expected... She waits patiently for people to come back from their activities, always smiling, even though everything has been ready for a long time. Marie knows how to blend flavours with delicacy and greed, and make us discover deliciously spiced dishes, just as they should be. Discreet but very reactive, always passionately explaining the dishes served, our taste buds were spoiled. Starters, main courses, meats, seafood and desserts, everything was very successful in all our eyes, a magnificent experience. Chef Marie, thank you for all this. »

    Cécile

« We were lucky enough to appreciate Marie's work during a week's holiday with friends. Her cuisine, her generosity and her smile delighted children, teenagers and adults. Healthy, seasonal cuisine, each time with a little secret touch that makes the difference. We were delighted and warmly recommend Marie's culinary talents for your small and large tables. Thank you Marie for your good humour and hope to see you again. »

    Delphine

« A big thank you to Marie who treated us throughout the weekend for my husband's 60th birthday. Everything was perfect: her dishes, her kindness, her good humour. We recommend Marie with our eyes closed. »

    Valérie

« We had the pleasure of having Marie as a private chef for 4 days for a family event of 21 people. Everything went extremely well, from the preparation of the event to the day itself. Marie is available, reactive, attentive and flexible. She made suggestions for the menus, which were very varied, balanced and above all delicious! We really enjoyed ourselves throughout the stay, from breakfast to dinner, including the aperitif, everything was homemade, with care and great mastery! I recommend Marie's services with my eyes closed! »
